Filmmaking Bio
Lin's early fascination with cinema and making home movies began at a young age. In the 8th grade, at the age of 13, Lin began borrowing his dad's 8mm video camera and made numerous home movies with friends. His home movies and short filmmaking hobby continued through high school. During high school he worked as a camera operator at his local church filming sermons.
After high school, after several failed attempts, Lin finally got accepted into the University of Texas Film Program after submitting a short video reel. During his sophmore year in college, Lin was simultaeously breaking into the stunt business and having numerous hours of real set experience which complimented his film schooling.
Having a stunt background gave him the opportunity to work side by side and study on set from a number of Hollywood's A-List directors such as Michael Bay, Edwards Zwick, Steven Speilberg, Michael Mann, and more. This invaluable experience helped him expedite his learning curve of cinema outside of the classroom.
Lin currently resides in Los Angeles, where he is in various stages of development on various projects and working to complete his directing reel.
